Matthew Phillips

Matt is the founder and Chief Executive Officer of IDG and the Chief Executive Officer of the Managing Member entities of IDG’s projects. Before founding IDG, Matt was the Senior Executive for a team that acquired and developed high-end, multi-million dollar senior living communities for Classic Residence by Hyatt of Chicago. Earlier in his Classic Residence career, Matt was the General Counsel and oversaw legal, regulatory and operational matters in addition to negotiating transactions and financing. Prior to Classic Residence, Matt was a Partner at the Chicago law firm of Bell, Boyd & Lloyd. There Matt’s clients owned and developed multi-family and condominium projects, golf course communities, and office and retail projects. He is affiliated with the American Seniors Housing Association, National Investment Center, and Urban Land Institute. Matt’s valuable relationships with a wide array of professionals and organizations in the legal, real estate, construction, design, senior living and investing industries are a key asset of IDG and its partners.

Tom Herb
Principal

Tom is an IDG principal and the principal of The Garlands Exceptional Management Services (GEMS), the operating company that will manage the day-to-day operations of IDG developments. In addition to his role at GEMS, Tom is the President and CEO of The Garlands, a luxury senior living community in Barrington, IL (www.thegarlands.com). Tom has extensive experience in business, sales and customer service and brings these valuable talents and relationships to the IDG team.

Nancy Cutter
Vice President of Development and Construction

Nancy brings more than three decades of experience in all facets of real estate development, including ten years of senior living community development, to her new position as IDG vice president of development and construction. Prior to joining IDG, Nancy was assistant vice president of development for Classic Residence by Hyatt in Chicago. There, she was responsible for managing project development from design through construction commencement for several continuing care retirement communities. During her career, Nancy has held senior-level positions with numerous real estate development companies in the Chicago area including Urban Innovations, LCOR Inc., Parkside Senior Services and Mesirow Stein Real Estate. Nancy is also an architect and began her career at the architectural firm of Harry Weese and Associates in Chicago.

Kate DeCoursey
Vice President of Development and Finance

Kate has more than a decade of experience in real estate finance and development, including five years in the senior living field. Most recently, she served as assistant vice president of new business development at Classic Residence by Hyatt where she was responsible for managing the investment analysis process for new development and acquisition opportunities. Prior to that, Kate evaluated investment opportunities in a wide variety of asset classes throughout North America as an associate in Deutsche Bank's real estate private equity group in New York. She began her career at the Illinois Housing Development Authority, where she was responsible for underwriting affordable housing developments.

Jill Goodwin
Assistant Vice President of Sales and Marketing

Jill is responsible for managing the sales activities for IDG’s project, The Club at Briarcliff Manor. She is also responsible for direct sales and implementing the marketing plan. Prior to joining IDG, Jill worked for several developing Continuing Care Retirement Communities in the New York area, including Westchester Meadows in Valhalla, The Woodlands at Ardsley and Retirement Living Services in Hartford, Connecticut.

Christina Kraft

Christina Kraft is a Senior Living Counselor at The Club at Briarcliff Manor. Prior to joining BCM, Christina was involved in the sales and customer service industry.  She now uses her experience to help seniors plan for their future in order to ensure a seamless transition from their current lifestyle to the luxurious offerings of The Club at Briarcliff Manor.

Shelley Lotter
Assistant Vice President of Development

Shelley Lotter is responsible for assisting in the successful planning and implementation of development projects.  At IDG, she uses her skills as a project manager and the ability to interface effectively with marketing, sales, operations and other functional areas to bring all phases of the project to fruition.   Shelley brings extensive experience in real estate development, management and real estate brokerage to the IDG team.  Shelley will also draw on her experience in community outreach, communications, and event planning in the health and wellness industry to foster strong community relations.

Joan Manley

Helayne Scheier

Helayne Scheier is the Director of Sales at The Club at Briarcliff Manor. She is an experienced sales professional in the luxury senior housing industry. She is responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with future residents as she assists them in planning for a rich and fulfilling lifestyle at The Club.

Laura Oliver
Vice President of Marketing

Laura is responsible for overseeing the marketing efforts for IDG’s developments, including market research and implementing the IDG marketing plan. Prior to joining IDG, Laura worked for The Asbury Group, a consulting company that provides integrated development, marketing, financial, management and technology consulting services to existing and developing Continuing Care Retirement Communities. For six years before joining The Asbury Group, Laura worked at Classic Residence by Hyatt, where she was responsible for conducting the research and analysis of potential Continuing Care Retirement Community developments and acquisitions. Prior to Classic, Laura was at Brookdale Living Communities, a national provider of upscale rental retirement communities. During her five-year tenure with Brookdale, Laura served in a variety of market research and sales and marketing roles.

Peter Phillips
Project Manager

Peter is responsible for managing the project design and construction teams on IDG’s projects. Before joining Integrated Development Group, Peter was the Project Manager for a data and telecommunication firm, Project Resource Solutions LLC, specializing in network installation and equipment deployment projects. Peter’s civilian expertise also includes work in the executive development and placement field. Prior to these endeavors, Peter was a member of the United States Air Force from 1986 until honorably separating in 1992. During these years, Peter served as a Security Controller in Base Defense Operations and was assigned to Space Command and Tactical Air Command tours in Panama, Turkey and the United Kingdom.

Jody Thurston
Vice President of Operations

Jody is responsible for developing IDG’s operations programs and overseeing The Garlands Exceptional Management Services (GEMS), the management company responsible for day-to-day operations of IDG communities. Before joining IDG, Jody was the Executive Director of Classic Residence by Hyatt and the Plaza Companies in Scottsdale, AZ. She was responsible for all operations of the luxury Continuing Care Retirement Communities. Prior to Classic Residence by Hyatt, Jody held clinical and supervisory positions within the Social Services/Case Management Department at Sun Health Corporation-Boswell/Del Webb Hospital. Her work in the acute, sub-acute, rehab, outpatient and emergency care settings provided an opportunity to understand complex health care issues as related to older patients and their families. Jody’s work with healthy and ailing seniors in both institutional and home settings provided her with first-hand knowledge of the challenges aging adults encounter.

Kathleen Ullo
Vice President of Sales

Kathleen Ullo is responsible for overseeing IDG’s sales efforts and has 25 years experience in senior housing sales management. Kathleen began her career in nursing, making the transition to retirement housing sales while working for Life Care Services Inc., overseeing sales and marketing for a retirement community in suburban Chicago. In 1990 she joined The Charles H. Shaw Company in Chicago as vice president of sales and marketing/managing broker. Over the next 15 years, Kathleen managed the sales, marketing, advertising and brokerage for a variety of retirement/real estate developments, ranging from senior cooperative housing to mixed use developments. Most recently before joining the IDG team, Kathleen served as vice president of sales and marketing for Equity Marketing Services Inc., a nationwide real estate marketing company. During her tenure there, she supervised a variety of condominium conversions and new real estate condominium/townhome and single family developments around the country.

Denise Williams
Manager, Corporate Office Operations

Denise is responsible for managing IDG’s corporate office and providing administrative assistance to the IDG sales team. Prior to joining the team at Integrated Development Group, Denise provided executive assistance to professionals within the contracting and telecommunications industries, including pivotal work within network operations and security. In addition to these endeavors, Denise founded her own firm that specializes in interior re-design and professional staging for both the Atlanta and Chicago markets.
