Dorothy Lander was recognized by The Club at Briarcliff Manor for her contributions to the Community.  Ms. Lander, a long-time resident of Armonk, has inspired many others, especially in her role as Head Librarian at the Ossining Public Library for 26 years and as Secretary of the Board for the Friends of Lasdon Park and Arboretum in Katonah, where she founded the Horticultural Library.  Ms. Lander has also been a key volunteer at the Sunday School Library at St. Stephen's Episcopal Church in Armonk.
