The Club at Briarcliff Manor Sponsors Screening of The Lady with the Dog at the Jacob Burns Film Center – February 12, 2010

The Club at Briarcliff Manor, in partnership with the Jacob Burns Film Center, is thrilled to be the exclusive Sponsor of 'Adaptations: Books into Films', a film and discussion series about movies whose stories grew from great books.
Before the film begins, special guest speaker John MacKay, Professor of Slavic Languages & Literature and Chair of the Film Studies Program at Yale (on right), receives a warm welcome from Brian Ackerman, Programming Director of the Jacob Burns Film Center (on left).
Filmgoers, including guests of The Club at Briarcliff Manor enjoy the screening of this classic film adaptation of Chekhov's short story 'The Lady with the Dog'.
Guests of The Club and other audience members enjoy a special postscreening lecture and discussion about the film with John MacKay, Professor of Slavic Languages & Literature and Chair of the Film Studies Program at Yale.
After the film, guest of The Club Phyllis Tannin from Chappaqua (on right) joins Shelley Lotter, Asst. Vice President of Integrated Development Group (middle), the developer of The Club at Briarcliff Manor, and special guest speaker John MacKay, Chairman of the Film Studies Program at Yale (on left).
